by Laura Cronk "A Public Body" is part of a longer project that is an attempt to consider the current American war with a kind of dream mind. The other poems are all love poems of sorts. "From the Other" is an attempt to write an erotic poem from a male perspective. The Marilyn Hacker poem exists just because I read Love, Death, and the Changing of the Seasons and had an enormous crush on her after that. Thank you, Reb and Molly, for having my poems up for a visit. It's an honor to be in Room 5C.
