Laurel Snyder writes poems, essays, and books for children, as well as blogging compulsively at http://jewishyirishy.com and occasionally ranting out loud for NPR's All Things Considered. Her first full-length collection of poems, The Myth of the Simple Machines was recently published by No Tell Books, and a children's novel will be available from Random House next year.
