About the Poems
by Jessica Piazza Where I once worshiped form, I now worship form's higher power: sound. (These poems were all written, exasperatingly, as I was converting. At this rate, though, I'll be ordained soon.) Anyway, a good friend of mine said the following about this group of poems: "They're an in-betweenish lot--- and they show your change from one sort of poem to another. In that way they are kinda fugitive, so they belong in a no-telling motel." I'd say that about sums it up.
