Marcela Sulak - Bio

Marcela Sulak is celebrating her birthday this week. Thanks for reading these poems and celebrating with her. She’s published others in Fence, The Indiana Review, The Notre Dame Review, River Styx, and Quarterly West, etc. Her chapbook is, Of All the Things that Don’t Exist, I Love You Best (Finishing Line Press, November 2008). Her translations from the Czech include May, by Karel Hynek Macha and Bouquet by Petr Eben, (Twisted Spoon Press, 2005, 2010). She is an assistant professor of literature at The American University in Washington, DC., but this semester (spring 2008) she is a visiting professor at Bar-Ilan University in Israel.
