Fritz Ward - Bio

Fritz Ward's poems have appeared in more than fifty journals, including American Arts and Commentary, Agni, Blackbird, Salt Hill, Columbia, Small Spiral Notebook, Diagram and The Journal. He has been nominated for a Pushcart Prize and has won the Cecil B. Hemley Memorial Prize from the Poetry Society of America. He holds an MFA in creative writing from the University of North Carolina Greensboro, where he served as a poetry editor for the Greensboro Review. He currently lives in Santa Rosa, California and Philadelphia.
