Laine Ballard received her MFA in Writing & Consciousness from New College of California. Her work has appeared or has been accepted to appear in Five Fingers Review, quickflip: a HOW2 e-chap, and Coconut. Laine is originally from Maine. She now lives a slow and snowy life in the Castro district of San Francisco.
