Lea Graham - BioLea Graham’s poems, reviews, collaborations and articles, have been published in or are forthcoming in journals such as Sentence, Notre Dame Review, Capilano Review and American Letters & Commentary. Her work was included in two recent anthologies, The Bedside Guide to No Tell Motel: Second Floor and The City Visible: Chicago Poetry in the 21st Century. Calendar Girls, her chapbook, was published in 2006 by above/ground Press. Recently, she and the visual artist, Kristina Dziedzic Wright, created a site-specific installation, Behind Your Velvet Elvis, which has exhibited in West Chicago and Poughkeepsie, NY (www.velvetelvis.biz). She has a Ph.D. in English/Creative Writing from the University of Illinois at Chicago, and is currently Assistant Professor of English at Marist College in Poughkeepsie, New York. She is superstitious about fortune cookie fortunes and loves a good Malbec. |
