Elisa Gabbert & Kathleen Rooney - Bio

Elisa Gabbert is the poetry editor of Absent. Recent work can be found in Colorado Review, Diagram, Pleiades, and Typo. She is the author of two chapbooks from Kitchen Press, Thanks for Sending the Engine and My Fear of X (forthcoming). She lives in Boston.

Kathleen Rooney is an editor of Rose Metal Press and the author of Reading with Oprah: The Book Club That Changed America (University of Arkansas Press), Oneiromance (an epithalamion) (Switchback Books), and Live Nude Girl (Arkansas). She lives in Chicago. They are the co-authors of Something Really Wonderful (Dancing Girl Press) and That Tiny Insane Voluptuousness (Otoliths). Their collaborative poems can be found in Boston Review, Caketrain, jubilat and elsewhere.
