David Wolach - BioDavid Wolach is professor of text arts, poetics, and new media at The Evergreen State College, and visiting professor in Bard College's Workshop In Language & Thinking, and former union organizer for Local 2110/UAW / consultant for the AFL-CIO. He's the author of several books, most recently: Prefab Eulogies Vol. 1: Nothings Houses (BlazeVOX. forth. 2009), Occultations (Black Radish Books, forth. 2009-10), Hospitalogy (Scantily Clad Press, forth. 2009), Acts of Art/Works of Violence: Essays (SSLA/U of Sydney, forth. 2009-10), The Cutting Room: Recovery Project Fairy Tales (Differentia Press, forth. 20010), and book alter (ed) (Ungovernable Press, 2009). Wolach's poetry has appeared in various journals and anthologies, most recently: Dusie, 5_Trope, Ekleksographia: An Imprint of Ahadada Books (Amy King, ed.), Venereal Kittens, BlazeVOX, Fact-Simile, Little Red Leaves, Bird Dog, and Counterexample Poetry & Poetics. Often collaborative and using multiple media, Wolach's work has been performed, or will be performed soon, at venues such as Buffalo Poetics Series, The Stain of Poetry Series, The American Cybernetics Conference 2009, PRESS Literary Conference, and The Econovergence Conference (The Tangent Reading Series).
