Anna Elena Eyre - Bio

Anna Elena Eyre is a Taoseña who grew up making mud pies and playing with magpies near Reality. She received an MFA from the California College of Arts and Crafts in 2005 and is currently a doctoral candidate in poetics at SUNY-Albany. Her research concerns animality, representation and the body in 20th-21st century poetry, poetics and politics. Her chapbook Metaplasmic was published by effing press in 2004.
