About the Poems
by Joel Patton Vague things about the poems: Some of these are from 2003. 2002? The detail seems important, somehow, but I've forgotten. The most recent are from 2006. Most of them have been altered at some point in the intervening years. One of the poems is my favorite thing that I've written. Over the past few years, I've inscribed bits of most of these poems on pottery. I like etymology, and I like making things. I suppose that these involve both.
