About the Poems
by Anthony Robinson No surprise here. Love poems. Non-love poems. Poems "about" people. These are for K, M, and L. "September Improvisations" is the oldest piece here, and I guess less informed by heartbreak, blood, health scares, adult tears. The two "sonnets" are, I suppose, "speculative" love poems and are dedicated to LH. The remaining poems are for M--fairly accurate reflections of our all-too short relationship, with most of the anger and sadness removed. (Those poems come later.)
