Heidi Lynn Staples BioHeidi Lynn Staples Bio Heidi Lynn Staples, (formerly Heidi Peppermint), has poems in Best American Poetry 2004, Bird Dog, Castagraf, Denver Quarterly, HOW2, La Petite Zine, LIT, Slope, Tarpaulin Sky, Unpleasant Event Schedule, and elsewhere; and reviews in Denver Quarterly, Electronic Poetry Review, Georgia Review, Verse and other journals. Her first book, Guess Can Gallop, was selected by Brenda Hillman as a winner of the 2002 New Issues prize. A founding and acting editor of the literary magazine Parakeet, Staples has served as an associate editor on Salt Hill and Verse. She lives in Syracuse with her husband, co-editor and fellow writer, John Staples--plus, their two dogs, cat, and bird. |
