Cynthia Arrieu-King - Bio

Cynthia Arrieu-King is a doctoral student at the University of Cincinnati and an echocardiographer. Her work has appeared in Margie, Diagram, and Prairie Schooner and is forthcoming in Word For/Word. She is currently working on a theory of the February ochedoche, a moment when, in the winter, you see a puppy, flower, or bird who makes you think perhaps you will not walk through life wrapped in newspaper, ill-will, and insomnia: perhaps you will be ochedoche.
