Eileen R. Tabios - Bio

Eileen R. Tabios has written 10 books of poetry, a collection of art essays and a book of short stories. Recent books include the multi-genre collection I Take Thee, English, For My Beloved (Marsh Hawk Press, 2005) and a poetry collection, The Secret Lives of Punctuations, Vol. I (xPressed, 2006). She blathers at the world from her blog, THE CHATELAINE’S POETICS. Once, during insomnia, she made up something called the hay(na)ku and it’s left her sitting on her ass on a mountain while it goes global. She is the publisher of Meritage Press.
