"Mangrove Wetlands" and "Andrew, August 24, 1992" are both inspired by growing up in Miami and the science geek in all of us. The untitled poem is not actually about dogs--though if you want to believe it is, that's cool, and the last one, “After the Sex,” well, I hope my mom isn't reading this.
