Sandra Beasley - Bio

Sandra Beasley lives in Washington D.C., where she earned her MFA at American University and served as Editor-in-Chief of Folio. Her poems can be found in recent or upcoming issues of journals such as 32 Poems, Cimarron Review, Gargoyle, New Orleans Review, Poet Lore, and Meridian. Her work has been featured on Verse Daily, and appears in the 2005 Best New Poets anthology, selected by George Garrett. She has received fellowships from the Indiana University Writer's Conference, the Jenny McKean Moore Workshop, Vermont Studio Center, Virginia Center for Creative Arts and The Millay Colony.
