About the Poems
by William Allegrezza These poems are from two different books, In the Weaver's Valley (Blue Lion Books) and Fragile Replacements (forthcoming with Meritage). They are poems that explore the other through desire in an attempt to find one's self—in touch, in beauty, in light on a back. I do not often write directly of eros, but these poems attempt to follow the fickle god through the darkness of my unknowing self.
