About the Poems - SCYellow Horace is a hieroglyph. Some guy in a book I read part of once said so. I think. Also, one time I bought a bunch of dahlias at the farmer's market and took them home and put them in wine bottles filled with water (sort of reverse-Jesus procedure). One of them was of a red so deep it was black, and at a certain point in staring at and then living with it, I realized its color represented the body of my love for a person whose name may or may not have begun with a V. My love for said "V." may or may not have existed, Proust-style, but that dahlia sure as hell did. The dahlia: what a flower, hunh? |
