About the Poems - LSAbout the Poemsby Leigh Stein These poems are dedicated to you if you've ever: given away a movie ending, ruined a punchline, fallen down the escalator in the Union Square subway entrance, moved back in with your parents, said, "What are you talking about, I'm totally fine," left a sonnet under a windshield wiper, dropped out of high school, had trouble breathing, had too much coffee, asked for it, lied, slept, slept in a bunk bed, climbed a mountain, climbed a fire escape ladder, climbed a fire escape ladder to a roof where someone had waited their whole life for you to come find them and now that you had they said, "Close your eyes and give me your hands." |
