ragtown

Rebecca Loudon

fingered her baubles                             the ruby deluge &
brought the rubber
tulips up with her
mouth

100
101
102
103 degrees

switchblade eyeballs
goblins bit her hip
attended by doctors
her house swallowed
tuss & flapping miles of film

no                                                         wait

their love was an ocelot in a flamingo's beak

(fever is a cheap drunk)

she named him                                      carburetor junkie
she named him                                      slick cool mud
she named him                                      tactus
all the way through

Rebecca Loudon
