Haploid Love Poem

Brian Laidlaw

moss came constantly
like a teen

     a north cheats

on its axis
cheats on its exes

the spores were
sporadic

     though disarming

opens cans of hams
bumping sentience he

vetoes individual lines
with his nos

     the nomadic spunk

worries wither
he is under a micro-

scope his eyes look so bigly

but it turns out his eyes
were just that glassy & big
