Notes for eating a way out of the orchard

Steffi Drewes

plucked sour globefruit
letting bookstacks go lopsided

hurl fantastic curveballs
brilliant maps blooming afire

in gulps and yells           without
holly-go-lightly now thunderstruck

having struck cerebral gold
an agile broad comes in handy

what sifting and sensory surge       her arcs
filling marvelous teacups and trashcans

she’s burgeoning song
know milked it

know weaving it
found measuring new angle

re-ordered coordinates
she’s tough gravel marvel

slick-studded skull
talking gravity savvy

so tanked to travel
dredge and give gouge
