from NOTATIONAL

Jane Joritz-Nakagawa

iii

 landing was abandonment and departure
 was quintet history was cleaned
up to make space for dense ruins

voice stuck in the lawn whimpering hope of disappearance

   withered harmony turning
its back

if all mountains paraded eating the valleys as they went

we die unconsciously   subject to chaotic scenes
