In the Mouth

Patty Seyburn

Generosity and

pugilism have not

one thing in common, save

a soft “g.” They manage

to find their way into

the same sentence, strange

bedfellows, as goes the

adage by some wayward

sage who yearned to believe

we are all connected.

Charity’s stooge versus

organized rage. Gentle

consonant, why do you

insist on these cages?
