When I pull the curtains close
I see the white SUV
with the black skull on the hood
speed away from the curb.
I see Half Scary
standing on the sidewalk
holding a sign that says,
"You Are A Good Person."

An accident takes place.
The white SUV
with the black skull on the hood
hits the side of the house
where the man is living
inside the chimney he built around himself.
The chimney crumbles.
The man flies out
and lands on the hood
of the white SUV.
The hood of the SUV is blood spattered.
The driver is found on the roof.

I lie in bed knowing
that Half Scary
is underneath me.
He's waiting for me to fall asleep.
I'm wearing the blue suit
you bought me.
I'm sorry that your white SUV
with the black skull on the hood
is destroyed, because it was beautiful.
The best time to take a nap
is 2:30 on Memorial Day
with the window
by your feet wide open
clouds passing by.
