Rain in the morning, dreams
at dawn. How people change
into giants, into
assholes. Red Line damp
crowded running late
slow breakfast
less. Grey windows grey
boxes grey floors. Warehouse heaves
with burly workers. Stop
stop and you go
go go go. These songs
are not a good sign. Too
many boxes too many
carts too many green
sticky dots.

                     Lunchtime
rice squid basil
rain. Happy morons
on bikes and girls
and boys. Influx of money
and assholes. Good
for business, goodbye
parking.

Rain in the afternoon. Necco
tower, wet cranes. Over Metro
Rage Warehouse clouds
lift, settle. Pru still hidden.
          It stays with you
like those dreams.
