Although the book has no spine, it remains full

of a great many
                Bees,
                and ant-eaters.

In the drawer, beads and tapestries.

These are outside the book, so you put them on.

Thus, I can be freer in my affections

while you point as a way of speaking, we imagine,

instead of the opposite.

From the porch step, the moon being white

gets called to, and the next day

although it has not appeared.
