Feathers

Michael Rerick

Back from the fringes, many light-years replay a moment
of two walking through a park,
the frightening mechanism
of always here, even holding hands
    two places
                                                                                         from the beginning
conducted by fingers (small enough to be                                    two places
                                                                                 at once)
raising together from the body source
one hand, or two of two, walking and hearing

“I am featherless, ha ha, I am featherless”

Michael Rerick
